The Speed Merchant Hooligan Race Team was out in full force at the Born Free/Harley Davidson “The Stampede”races held at the Costa Mesa Speedway. The stands were full and the racing was action packed. It was the preview of what was to come at the Born Free 9 show just a few days later. All the invited builders had their bikes on display at the races. The Speed Merchant team riders that participated were Fast J, Fonz, Brandon Holstein, Mark Felt, Chris Wiggins and Josh Sleigh. The Speed Merchant also brought out the newly finished Harley Davidson XG750 raced by Chris Wiggins during the 750 exhibition races. Good times and we look forward to hopefully another “Stampede” next year.
